Today’s card for review is: Eerie Interference.
There are plenty of fogs in Magic: The Gathering, which forces designers to create caveats to them to make them appealing to play. Eerie Interference has been something that appeals to me in Standard. Not only can this card shield you and your board from incoming damage, but you can also use it to turn a disadvantageous blocking situation into an advantageous one. Remember: this is not a fog for your opponents or their creatures, which means any damage your creatures will do will go through. This asymmetrical effect is worth the three mana, as many opponents will not only not see it coming, but will have their smart blocks suddenly become sabotaged, and any blocks that aren’t smart only get more foolish.
